WORKOUT NOTIFICATION AMONG VIRTUAL STABLE UPGRADES
The Equibase/TrackMaster Virtual Stable, a free service which notifies users via e-mail when designated horses for the three major breeds are entered to race, has been expanded to incorporate overnight entries, workout and result notifications, as well as the ability to purchase programs and past performances directly from Equibase and TrackMaster via an active link within the notification.
Virtual Stable users never miss a start of horses they are following and can now choose to be notified as information is processed throughout the day or they can opt for a once daily report of the day’s activity, if any, in their stable,” said TrackMaster president, David Siegel, who indicated that additional enhancements to Virtual Stable were likely as a result of the companies’ dual commitment to maximizing the value of the popular service.
We wanted to go beyond having the fastest notifications among comparable online services by making it as convenient as possible to acquire the programs and past performances necessary to handicap races in which a stable horse is entered, not only for Thoroughbreds, but Quarter Horses and Standardbreds as well,” added Siegel. “Direct links within entry notifications accomplish that and we will continue to seek additional ways to enhance the service even further in coming months.”
Another important enhancement to the Virtual Stable service is the option to receive information in HTML or text format, and therefore maximize the usefulness of the notifications based on the e-mail software being used.
Virtual Stable is accessible through either equibase.com or trackmaster.com. A user ID and password are required and will be assigned via e-mail moments after registering for the free service.
