Highlighted Racing Yearbook and Stats Central sections, reformatted entries and results pages and convenient links to racing leaders are among the enhancements incorporated into a redesigned equibase.com, which was launched today by Equibase Company LLC.
“As the website for the industry’s official database, equibase.com serves the racing information needs of an ever-expanding customer base, which in 2010 averaged 155,000 unique daily visitors,” said Equibase President Hank Zeitlin. “This redesign will improve their overall site experience through streamlined navigation, a modern look, and a number of enhancements within many areas of the site.”
Within the Racing Yearbook section of the homepage, customers can access results, charts and free replays of recent graded stakes races, as well as entries and handicapping information for upcoming graded stakes races. A link takes customers to the complete list of Yearbook races for 2011.
Entries and results landing pages have been reformatted for ease of navigation. Beside the link to current-day entries are a graphic depicting the current weather conditions and, when available, a link to the program changes and scratches for that track.
Among the site’s other enhancements are weekly interactive polls and links to Facebook to engage the social media user community; racing’s leading horses, jockeys, trainers and owners at a glance; the latest racing news headlines; and a revamped Handicapper’s Store page.
