SAMSAL - Griffith drops her down to this level. You don't need too much more from the horse's history to figure that this horse has a good chance at this level. Is ranked number one in the field in EPS (earnings per start). A solid performance right here will add to that bankroll. PRINCESS APPEAL - This horse coming off a solid contest in the last 30 days is a win candidate in my book. You have to really like that recent race speed figure, 66, which is the top most recent race figure of this group. QUIZZER - This filly is in nice form, having run a strong race on May 2nd, finishing first. This jock and trainer's horses have been producing a profitable ROI. Filly took a little vacation, but has been racing into shape.

Vulnerable Contenders: #6 SING THE BLUES (ML=7/2), #3 ONE FAST LOOK (ML=8/1),

SING THE BLUES - Generally I need a sprinter to have some success lately in short distance races in order to support her. This runner ran a mediocre speed figure in the last race. She shouldn't run much better and will probably lose in today's event running that figure. ONE FAST LOOK - No picnic to wager on any animal in a sprint race at 8/1 when she hasn't shown any on the board results in sprints in the last 60 days.

GUEST COMMENTARY: Winston - PRINCESS APPEAL - I'm betting on this filly. I love to bet on a thoroughbred on the immediate return.
