Get the race number, post time, race conditions, exotic wagers plus all the horses in each race with morning line odds, post position, program number, jockey and trainer along with the power, speed, pace and class figures. The top rated horse is highlighted in each race and the $ and "thumbs up" now alert players to the best bet and longshot plays respectively formerly known as the + and L in regular FlashNet.

A "+" symbol next to the morning line odds means that the combination of the Power Rating Margin (difference between the top two horses power ratings) & the post time odds (approximated by the morning line) were profitable in the recent past.

The "L" symbol notes a potentially valuable long shot play. These plays are based on computer analysis of various "angles" which have produced long term positive profits with horses at odds of 8 to 1 or greater. The "B" symbol signifies that both the "+" and "L" symbol apply in this situation.

Class and Speed Ratings - Definitions

Class Rating - A numeric indicator of the average winning speed of this race. Used to compare horses' across different types, distances, and surfaces of race.

Speed Rating - A numerical indicator of the horses' speed in a race compared to the expected speed of the race. This factor is adjusted so horses' speeds may be directly compared across different classes, distances and surfaces.

Average Speed Ratings Distance and Surface

Avg SR - Average Speed Rating of last ten races.
Avg SR D/S - Average Speed Rating of last ten races at this distance and surface.
Avg CR - Average Class Rating of last ten races.
Avg CR D/S - Average Class Rating of last ten races at this distance and surface.
NOTE: - When statistics are given for distance and surface (D/S), the races included are within one-half furlong of the actual distance being run.

Pace Early Mid Fin #R

The pace calculator analyzes the horse's position at three stages in the race: Early Call, Middle Call, and Finish.

By averaging the positions a horse has been in at that stage over his past races, the pace calculator gives a number indicating where that horse usually is. If a horse shows a 1.5 Early, for example, it means this horse typically runs in front (between first and second) early in a race. Another horse might show a 6.8 Early, meaning it tends to run in sixth or seventh (more likely seventh as it is closer to 7 than 6) early in a race. By comparing the early to the middle and finish pace figures, you get an idea of which horses consistently run in front and which come from behind later in a race.

The #R indicator shows how many races went into the calculation. If an asterisk (*) appears before the #R number, this means that those races occurred on a different surface than today's race. For example, if today's race is on dirt, a "*" indicates that turf races were used in the calculation.
