I've got to go with INDIAN WAR DANCE. He has been racing admirably lately while recording sharp Equibase Speed Figures. Dutrow has him trained soundly to break swiftly out of the starting gate. Ran a sharp last race. COOL N COLLECTIVE - Lately Serey has provided risk takers with a very strong winning percentage with horses racing in dirt route races. Could beat this group given the 85 speed figure posted in his last outing. GOLD MINISTER - Has a strong record at the distance and surface, which makes me back this horse. With Coa on top him, this horse should be able to break out early for this race.

BOLD DAYS looks very good to best this field. The winning percentage shown by horses entered by Brueggemann running at this distance are the best in this group. With Baird controlling the reins on him, this gelding will most likely be able to break out quickly in this contest. Like the finish positions in the last couple of contests. DIAMOND ACCOUNT - Could best this group based on the Equibase Speed Figure - 91 - of his last affair. WW KOOKY MONSTER - This equine has a fantastic win percentage in dirt sprints. Will likely be one of the leaders of the bunch going into the halfway point of the affair.

WHEELS UP AT NOON - The Feb 3rd event at Laurel Park was at a class level of (80). Dropping to a lower class level drastically, so he should be in a good position to win. Just look at his last speed rating, 67. That one fits in this bunch. With 'blinkers-on' this colt should be very competitive. WESTERN GAMBLER - It looks like Caraballo had to become familiar with this colt on Nov 15th when riding him for the first time. Back aboard again today. This jock and trainer have a great winning percent when they work together. Taking a trip down the ladder based on class; has the ability to make his presence felt. This horse is at the top in earnings per race entered. He looks strong in today's race. YANKEE SPIRIT - Owns the highest Equibase speed figure on the turf at this distance. Stites brings him right back. I recommend you stay with this hot gelding.

Vulnerable Contenders: #2 MONTAMORE (ML=4/1), #8 IPUNCHTWO (ML=6/1), #10 LET'S GO DIESEL (ML=8/1)

MONTAMORE - When looking at today's class rating, he will have to register a much better speed fig than last out to compete in this turf sprint. IPUNCHTWO - No picnic to back any questionable contender in a sprint race if he hasn't hit the board in a sprint in the last 60 days. Last raced on June 30th at Charles Town, finishing sixth. Unlikely to perk up off of that effort in today's event. LET'S GO DIESEL - Don't think that this colt has value at 8/1 this time around.

WILD PAUL - This jock/trainer duo has been producing a very beneficial ROI, right at +36. Jock hops up on board after getting to know the thoroughbred by riding in the last race. That's always a good to see. Keyrouze drops him down to this class level. You don't need too much more information to think this thoroughbred has a good chance at this level.

Vulnerable Contenders: #6 NOTORIOUS NAVY (ML=3/1), #4 RIGHTEOUS STRUGGLE (ML=3/1), #3 MARSHALL MATT (ML=4/1)

NOTORIOUS NAVY - Awfully tough to wager on this horse when he hasn't been showing any signs of life lately. RIGHTEOUS STRUGGLE - You figure that this horse is going to be first just because he's always close. Just doesn't get the job done frequently. Common rating last time out at Penn National at 1 mile 70 yards. Don't feel this mount will improve too much in today's race. MARSHALL MATT - This animal hasn't been hitting the board in either of his last couple of efforts. This pony ran a most unsatisfactory speed fig last race out. He shouldn't run much better and will likely suffer defeat in today's race running that fig.

GUEST COMMENTARY: The Brain - WILD PAUL - Some may pass on this one given his lackluster effort at Penn National in last race. But that was on a track listed as good. Watch out for this horse today.
