JONES SPECIAL - I have to believe Talbot is making a good move here. This gelding can only benefit from the shorter distance. VonRosen rode this horse for the initial time last out and comes right back in this race. This gelding is put right back into a race in less than 10 days; this is a positive sign. If this gelding gets out of the gate cleanly, he'll be tough to catch. Looking at today's class rating, this thoroughbred is up against an easier group than last race out at Turf Paradise.
ARIZONA WRANGLER - 2/1 is not pegged at the proper price for any horse in a sprint of 5 1/2 furlongs that hasn't finished in the money in a short distance event recently. If you keep playing these kind of 'bridesmaid' types, you're going to be disillusioned regularly.
OUTA CROWN - 5/2 odds isn't enough for this horse when examining the most recent efforts. Unlikely for this thoroughbred to make a winning move with no success lately in a sprint race.
