My choice in this race is PURE POLISHED. Has run well when racing a dirt sprint race. Could provide positive returns based on decent recent Speed Figures with an average of 80. With a strong 90 speed rating last time out, will clearly be a factor in this contest. SKY N MIGHTY - Is difficult not to consider given the company run in lately. Is worth looking at and may be a bet - strong speed figs (79 average) at today's distance and surface as of late. MARIKITTEN - She has recorded decent numbers under today's conditions and should fare well versus this group. Canani and Alvarado have a very good win percent together.

I think COMITATUS is a respectable choice. He has posted respectable numbers under today's conditions and should fare well versus this group of horses. Ran a sharp last race. Recent figures for the jockey - 24 win percent - make this gelding stand out in this group of horses in this race. DOGWOODS LANCE - Looks very good to be close to the front end at the first call. This gelding gets a boost with Baze in the irons. AMAZING SPIRIT - Have to bet on this gelding with the solid earnings per start in turf sprint races.

COOL LION looks quite good to best this field. Could beat this field given the 85 speed fig recorded in his last outing. Have to consider solely on class, with some of the top class numbers of this field. Has performed quite well recently in sprint races, posting a nifty 87 avg Equibase speed fig. COUNTY CLERK - Should be carefully examined here on the basis of the figs in the speed realm alone. The average Equibase class figure of 88 makes this one hard to beat. DOUGHNUT MAN - Felix should be able to get this gelding to break out quickly in this race. Should be given consideration - I like the figures from the last affair.

TIDY UP looks like the wager in here. Faraciransom has this gelding travelling well and is a respectable selection based on the competitive Equibase Speed Figures garnered in route races lately. With a sound jock who has won at a respectable 21 percent rate over the last 30 days. This has to be one of the top selections. Has respectable front-end speed and should fare solidly versus this field. BELFAST - Could beat this field given the 100 speed rating put up in his last outing. I like Felix on this gelding to give him a quite good chance to hit the wire first. ECONOMIC BAILOUT - Has performed soundly lately in route races, posting a nifty 89 avg speed figure. Competitive jock and conditioner combo winning 15 percent of their races working together.
