The MBNA Challenge comprises a total of 71 races in 10 regions across the United States, Canada and Mexico with American Quarter Horses competing in one of six different types of races, depending on their age and condition of the race. Championship Day takes place this year on Nov. 11 with six championship events and seven undercard races where MBNA Challenge enrolled horses are preferred for entry. Horses qualify for these six championship races by competing in trial races, with the top finishers moving on to the regional finals for each respective division.
