I like Ruiz on this gelding to give him a respectable chance to hit the wire first. ACT A FOOL - With Camacho uptop him, this gelding ought to be able to break out early for this event. Cazares has this gelding running well and is a respectable pick based on the formidable Equibase speed figs recorded in route races recently. SKY'S NOT FALLING - This animal has a fantastic win percent in turf routes. Ought to go to the lead and may never look back.

FLORIDA GAL - This filly should give a strong showing of herself in today's race. SKY OVER KINGSTON - I know the outfit is serious today. The filly gets Lasix for the first time. DIAMOND DANCER - Always beware of the longer priced animal when a trainer has an 'uncoupled' entry in a race. The 'x-factor' at work here is that this filly has been working over this track getting ready for her first start. VanWinkle adds Lasix to this one today. I'd look for a marked improvement.

GO K J GO - Not easy to bet on this steed this time around. Make her show you something in a sprint contest before you play her in a race of 6 furlongs. 7/5 odds isn't enough for this entrant when scrutinizing the most recent showings.

BIRRAVINO BLVD - Always be wary of the longer priced horse when a trainer has an 'uncoupled' entry in a race. This horse didn't run well on a sloppy track in his last start at Penn National. You should overlook that showing.

Vulnerable Contenders: #5 WHERE'S MY CHEW (ML=8/5), #1 BRIGHT CHARGER (ML=9/5), #4 ANALYST (ML=3/1),

WHERE'S MY CHEW - This gelding is always close, but just doesn't finish first. Hard to wager on him on the win end. BRIGHT CHARGER - Hard to support any equine with lessening speed figs of 73/65/58. Would have to get better off that fourth place finish last time to make an impact here. ANALYST - The effort last time out on Mar 20th probably won't hold up against stronger opponents when they turn for home. This gelding notched a fig in his last affair which probably isn't good enough today.

This filly looks like a live longshot. VADO CAT - Meeting a much softer field than last time out. Has some interesting angles which make this one a bet. RRUN UP THE SCORE - The class rating of today's affair is much lower than her last race.
