Chepstow HUNTER CHASE (Class 5)

Purse $6,500. TB For five yrs old and upwards, which have a Hunters' Certificate issued during the current season by one of the undermentioned Areas and which, after 2023, have run in a Point-to-Point steeple chase in Great Britain,. Weights: 5-y-o, 164 lbs; 6-y-o and up 166 lbs Mares allowed 7 lbs. Penalties, after 2023, a winner of a steeple chase 4 lbs Of 2 steeple chases or of a Class 1 to Class 3 steeple chase 8 lbs(Half penalties for wins achieved in Novices' and Maiden Hunters' Steeple Chases in Great Britain or Ireland) NB: With reference to the 8 lbs penalty for at least two Chase wins, a horse may only claim a half penalty if all wins were in Novice or Maiden Hunters' Steeple Chases. 3M
